DURHAM, N.C. – Duke swimming and diving sophomore
Keira Lu has been named the ACC Diver of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced Tuesday.
Lu, a native of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, earned the honor after posting two first-place finishes in Duke's meet against Davidson. She scored 323.78 in the one-meter dive and 348.38 in the three-meter.
The performance etched Lu's name into the Blue Devil record book, as both marks now rank fifth on Duke's women's all-time top-10 list. Nationally, her three-meter score of 348.38 ranks fifth, while her one-meter mark of 323.78 sits ninth in the six-dive category.
This marks Lu's second ACC weekly honor of the season. She previously earned the award after recording a first and second-place finish against Boston College, East Carolina and Marymount. In that meet, she posted a 314.65 to win the three-meter dive and 286.70 for second place in the one-meter.
The Blue Devils continue their 2025-26 campaign Friday, welcoming in-state and conference foe North Carolina to Taishoff Aquatics Center. It will be Duke's first matchup this season against a ranked opponent, as the Tar Heel men were No. 19 and the women's squad No. 14 in the October College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association rankings. Diving begins at 4 p.m., followed by swimming at 5 p.m.
