CHICAGO, Illinois – Former Duke men's soccer student-athlete Brian White was selected for the United States Men's National Team January Training Camp, the first under head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
White, who played four seasons for the Blue Devils, scored 23 goals in 73 appearances. He was drafted in the first round of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft by New York Red Bulls and was traded to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in June of 2021 after making 47 appearances and scoring 15 goals for Red Bulls. On April 27, 2024, White became the Whitecaps' all-time leading MLS scorer with a goal against his former club. It was White's 36 MLS goal for the Whitecaps and his fifth of the season. In 2024, White earned his first appearance with the US Men's National Team.
