DURHAM, N.C. – Fifteen Duke baseball players competed in summer ball leagues across the country this offseason.
Wallace Clark | Hyannis Harbor Hawks
Clark appeared in 15 games for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks this summer, posting a .304 average at the plate. The rising senior produced 12 runs, collected 14 hits, four doubles, one home run, and drove in 11 RBI. Clark added eight walks and stole one base, posting an OPS of .905 in his short Cape Cod League season.
Macon Winslow | Harwich Mariners
Winslow appeared in 24 games for the Harwich Mariners this summer, recording 20 starts behind the plate, three in left field and one at DH. He caught 170.2 innings this summer, throwing out nine would-be base stealers and producing 144 putouts. At the plate, Winslow tallied 17 hits, 14 runs scored, two doubles, two home runs, 10 RBI, and walked 12 times.
AJ Gracia | Cotuit Kettleers / USA Collegiate National Team
Gracia began the summer with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod League, before transitioning to the US Collegiate National Team Camp and was selected to the Summer League Tour Roster. Before he arrived in Cary, Gracia appeared in six games for the Kettleers, scoring three runs and blasting a home run. While with Team USA, Gracia and the squad finished 3-1, defeating the CPL Select Team twice and splitting the summer series against the Appy League Select teams. He produced a .300 average in four games this summer, finishing with a team-high .533 OBP.
Kyle Johnson | Chatham Anglers / USA Collegiate National Team
Johnson started the summer with the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod League, before joining the US Collegiate National Team Camp in Cary. With Chatham, Johnson appeared in seven games at the plate, collecting three hits and one extra-base hit, and one game on the mound. After joining the Collegiate National Team, Johnson was tabbed to the Summer League Tour Roster, finishing with a 1-0 record on the mound. He posted a two-inning outing, striking out four batters and limiting the Coastal Plain East squad to no hits.
Tyler Albright | Burlington Sock Puppets
Albright enjoyed a successful summer with the Burlington Sock Puppets, being named to the East All-Stars Roster. The rising junior appeared in 30 games, posting a .304 average at the plate with 22 runs scored, 28 hits, two doubles, one home run, 17 RBI, and drew 21 walks. He added 11 stolen bases and held an OBP of .810 throughout the summer.
Noah Murray | Burlington Sock Puppets
Murray joined fellow Blue Devils
Tyler Albright and
Aidan Weaver on the Burlington Sock Puppets, being selected to the East All-Stars Roster along with Albright. The rising sophomore produced a .299 batting average in 39 games, scoring 29 runs, collecting 40 hits, 12 doubles, five home runs, 17 RBI, and walked 35 times. He recorded a .947 OPS during the summer and competed in the Appy League Home Run Derby.
Sam Harris | Kalamazoo Growlers
Harris appeared in 24 games for the Kalamazoo Growlers of the Northwoods League this summer, producing a .318 batting average. He scored 23 runs, collected 27 hits, six doubles, four home runs and 24 RBI. He added two hit-by-pitches and drew 18 walks, registering a .973 OPS on the year.
Andrew Yu | Martha's Vineyard Sharks
Yu appeared in 32 games for the Martha's Vineyard Sharks of the New England Collegiate Baseball League this summer, posting a .331 batting average. He recorded 23 runs, 39 hits, five doubles, one triple, five home runs, and 25 RBI. He added 18 walks and was a member of the 2024 All-Star Game roster. In the playoffs, Yu produced a .667 average in two contests, tallying six hits and two RBI.
Roman DiGiacomo | Danbury Westerners
DiGiacomo played for the Danbury Westerns this summer, appearing in 19 games in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. He tallied a .338 average at the plate, scoring 12 runs, 23 hits, five doubles, one triple, and nine RBI. The rising sophomore also added five walks to his line this summer.
Mike Miller | Kalamazoo Growlers
Miller had a shortened summer season with the Kalamazoo Growlers, appearing in seven games on the mound. He worked 8.2 innings, striking out eight batters in those contests.
Gabe Nard | Cotuit Kettleers
Nard pitched in eight games for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League this summer, posting a 2-1 record on the mound. He recorded 16 innings of work, starting two contests, and struck out 15 batters.
Aidan Weaver | Burlington Sock Puppets
Weaver was the third member of the Blue Devils roster to play for the Burlington Sock Puppets this summer. The rising junior started all seven games he appeared in, producing an ERA of 3.34 on the mound. He worked 29.2 innings, allowing 21 hits and striking out 48 batters. He held opponents to a .193 batting average while with the Sock Puppets.
Ed Hart | Falmouth Commodores
Hart appeared in 12 contests for the Falmouth Commodores this summer, posting a 3.22 ERA and a 1-1 record on the mound. He added two saves in his 22.1 innings of work, striking out 17 batters. The rising junior was tabbed as a Cape Cod League All-Star in 2024.
Camron Poe | O'Fallon Hoots
Poe appeared in 13 games for the O'Fallon Hoots of the Prospect League this summer. He worked 16 innings on the mound, recording a 1-1 record with 16 punchouts.
James Raidt | Danbury Westerners
Raidt appeared in 12 games for the Danbury Westerners of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. He worked 18 innings on the mound, striking out 17 batters and allowing 11 hits.
