DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Athletics announced on Tuesday additional gameday enhancements for fans attending Blue Devil football games this season at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. With pregame and in-stadium spaces for fans to enjoy, alongside rotating performances from an all-star lineup of DJs, the enhanced gameday experience will start well before kickoff and continue following the opening kickoff.
Pregame Destinations
Gameday starts when you enter the Duke campus. Before heading to their seats, fans can get ready to cheer on the Blue Devils with new and enhanced pregame spaces on the perimeter of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Club Blue Devil on TriBULL Plaza – Opens 3 Hours Prior to Game, Closes At Kickoff
New for 2024, Club Blue Devil on TriBULL Plaza serves as a new pregame destination for fans, beginning three hours before every game. Tribull Plaza, located on the perimeter of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium between Cameron Indoor Stadium and the Duke Team Store, will transform into a unique social space for fans.
The vibe will be set with performances by a rotating lineup of DJs, performing from an elevated stage. Fans will be able to take advantage of unique food and beverage (beer, wine, seltzer and soft drinks) offerings while watching games from around the country on the mobile video board.
The Duke Team Store will be open and feature gameday apparel including new designs with the
recently announced Bull City Blue Devil mark. Those willing to test their Bull City spirit can try their luck on the mechanical bull while waiting for the Blue Devil Team Walk, which occurs 1 hour and 45 minutes prior to kickoff.
Fans can look forward to performances from local, regional and internationally renowned DJs – at no additional fee above their game ticket. Before the game, each DJ will perform a full set at Club Blue Devil on TriBULL Plaza, before continuing during the game from the DJ Booth inside the stadium on the Devils Deck.
These DJs, newly minted the "Devils Advocates", will keep the energy going at key moments throughout the game and lead the team into the second half with a halftime performance following the Duke Marching Band.
