DURHAM – The Duke-Northwestern football game, originally scheduled for Saturday, September 7, has been shifted to Friday, September 6.

In addition, the game times for Duke's first three games of the 2024 season and its game against Florida State are set, the ACC announced Thursday afternoon.

The Blue Devils, led by head coach Manny Diaz, will open the season against Elon on Friday, August 30 at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and will air on ACC Network.

For the eighth time over the last 10 seasons, Duke and Northwestern will face off in an out-of-conference game with the Blue Devils making a return trip to Evanston, Ill., on Friday, September 6. The non-conference game is scheduled for 9 p.m. (8 p.m. CT) and will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1.

Duke is back in Durham on Saturday, September 14, when it welcomes Connecticut to Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium for the third week of play. The non-conference game is set for 6 p.m. and will be carried on ACC Network Extra and ESPN+.

Additionally, Duke will host Florida State at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Friday, October 18. The game will air on ESPN2.
