CHARLOTTE - The No. 24 Duke women's lacrosse team fell to No. 3 Boston College, 19-5, in ACC Tournament quarterfinal action Wednesday evening at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
Four different Eagles registered hat tricks and were led by Emma LoPinto with three goals and three dimes as the fourth-best scoring offense nationally was on full display.
Boston College outshot Duke, 40-13, and won the draw control battle, 20-5.
Duke was led by Caroline DeBellis with a hat trick, while Olivia Carner grabbed four ground balls and a caused turnover.
