DURHAM – The 14th-ranked Duke rowing team will head to the Sunshine State to compete in the Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Fla., on Friday at Nathan Benderson Park.
The Blue Devils' will race five boats in the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Third Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four in 15 races throughout the two-day event. The 2V4 is set to open the morning session at 9:10 a.m., on Friday.
In the field along with Duke are Alabama, Brown, Clemson, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Rutgers, SMU, Tennessee, UCF, UCLA and Wisconsin.
Fourteen of the 18 teams in this year's field are either ranked in or have received votes in the latest Pocock CRCA Top-20 poll.
