DURHAM – Seventh-ranked Duke softball hits the road for a pair of midweek contests at Elon and East Carolina.
The Blue Devils face the Phoenix in a single game on Tuesday at 5 p.m. before taking on the Pirates in a doubleheader on Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m.
Duke carries a 16-game winning streak into Tuesday's matchup with Elon, including four consecutive shutout victories.

INSIDE THE SERIES
ELON
Tuesday's matchup marks the eighth all-time meeting between the two teams. The Blue Devils lead the series, 6-1, including a 1-1 record when playing on the road. The two teams last met a week ago in the Duke Invitational with the Blue Devils earning the 14-0 run-rule victory.
EAST CAROLINA
Duke leads the all-time series, 4-1, after meeting for the first time in 2018. The last matchup was a season ago with the Blue Devils sweeping the Pirates in a doubleheader at Duke Softball Stadium. Duke recorded an 11-5 win in the opening game before claiming a 4-3 walk-off win in the nightcap.
UP NEXT
The Blue Devils return home to host South Dakota State for a three-game series beginning with a doubleheader on Friday at Duke Softball Stadium. Friday's opener is set for 2 p.m.
