Margo O'Meara and graduate diver
Ali Watson punched their ticket to the 2023-24 NCAA Swim and Dive Championships on Monday. The 2023-24 NCAA Division I Women's Swim and Dive Championships will be hosted in Athens, Ga., on the campus of the University of Georgia.
In the preliminary round for the 3-meter board, O'Meara and Watson secured spots in the finals with a fourth and seventh-place finish respectively. O'Meara tallied 329.20 points, while Watson scored 308.75.
In the finals, O'Meara held strong to collect a fourth-place finish with a score of 668.40, while Watson moved up the standings two spots to fifth place, scoring 649.80 points.
O'Meara also earned a spot at the NCAA Swim and Dive Championships in the 1-meter event, after finishing third in the prelims with a score of 281.80. She followed up that performance by finishing fourth overall in the finals with a score of 580.30.
