DURHAM – The Duke women's lacrosse team kicks of its ACC schedule Saturday as it welcomes No. 19 Clemson to Koskinen Stadium. Opening draw is set for noon on ACC Network.
Opening Draw
Duke and Clemson meet for just the second time in program history as the Tigers won the lone contest, 11-10, a year ago. It was Clemson's first win over a ranked opponent and ACC opponent, and was one of five losses Duke suffered by one goal in 2023.
The Blue Devils went 1-1 last weekend, falling to No. 13 Johns Hopkins (17-13) before a commanding 25-5 victory over Winthrop.

Seventeen different Blue Devils had a hand in the victory over Winthrop. Duke's offense exploded as 12 different Blue Devils found the back of the cage, led by Katie DeSimone with six goals and an assist for a game-high seven points while freshman Caitlin Barrett collected a career-high four goals.
Against the Blue Jays, Duke was led by graduate student Caroline DeBellis with a career-high five goals while DeSimone reeled in three goals and two assists for five points.
Scouting the Tigers
Clemson is ranked No. 19 in the latest IWLCA poll and boast a 3-0 record this early spring. Most recently, the Tigers defeated Coastal Carolina, 16-5, a week ago.
Clemson is led offensively by Claire Bockstie with 16 points (8g, 8a), while Regan Byrne owns 12 (9g, 3a). Midfielder Hanna Hilcoff leads the draw unit with 14 to go along with 6 points.
Emily Lamparter has all decisions in the cage and boasts a 6.03 GAA and a .568 save percentage between the pipes.
