The Opening Faceoff
- Duke continues its four-game homestand Friday against Jacksonville. The second-ranked Blue Devils look to avenge consecutive losses at the hands of the Dolphins.
- Jacksonville has won each of the past two meetings with Duke by a combined three goals ( 14-12 in 2022, 13-12 in 2023).
- The Dolphins enter the Friday night matchup with a 1-1 record after falling to Marist, 9-8, in overtime last Saturday. Their win was a narrow 9-8 victory versus Binghamton. Ethan LaMond leads all goal scorers with three while Jack Taylor has two goals and two assists. Jacksonville is averaging 43 shots per game, scoring just 17 goals for a .198 shot percentage.
- The Blue Devils are coming off a 19-10 win over Saint Joseph's last weekend. Brennan O'Neill had six goals to push his total to 12 for the season. Josh Zawada had six assists to give him 14 in three games. Dyson Williams rounds out the attack trio with 11 goals and an assist for 12 points. Defensively, Patrick Jameison has been solid in goal the past two games with a combined 26 saves and 15 goals allowed. Jake Naso continues his dominance at the dot, winning 69 percent of his restarts and averaging 12 ground balls per game.

Last Time We Met
- ¡ Brennan O'Neill scored five goals but it wasn't enough as Jacksonville outscored Duke 8-3 in the second half for a 13-12 victory. Duke took just six shots in the fourth quarter with only one coming on goal. Jake Naso won 19-of-27 faceoffs and William Helm made 11 saves in goal.
- ¡ Jack Taylor and Brandon Galloway had three goals apiece to spearhead the Jacksonville offense. Luke Millican had 13 saves in goal to anchor the defense that forced Duke into 16 turnovers.

- Duke enters Saturday's game riding a 13-game home win streak. The Blue Devils went 9-0 at home last season and last lost at Koskinen on April 9, 2022.

Duke's High Powered Offense
- Duke scored at least 20 goals in consecutive games to start the 2024 season. It is just the sixth time in program history the Blue Devils have registered back-to-back 20-goal games. Duke has had 63 20-goal games in its history and multiple times in 19 seasons.

- Duke has shown the ability this season to put together impressive scoring runs. The Blue Devils scored 14 unanswered against Bellarmine and had a seven-goal spurt at High Point. The combination of a high-powered offense, elite faceoff specialist and defensive unit gives Duke the capability to take over a game.
- The Blue Devils have scored multiple goals within 60 seconds of each other 13 times this season. Against High Point, Duke had back-to-back goals under 60 seconds seven times, including a pair in 14 seconds. In the season opener Duke had three goals in 57 seconds and a set of two in 0:13 and 0:26.
