DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke fencing program earned men's and women's preseason rankings by the United States Fencing Coaches' Association (USFCA). The Blue Devil women check in sixth while the men start the 2024-25 season ranked 10th.
Harvard, Notre Dame, Columbia and Princeton own the top four spots in both the men's and women's USFCA polls.Â
Head coach
Omar Elgeziry is in his second year with the Blue Devils and looks to continue the growth from last season, when Duke placed 10th at the NCAA Championship with 73 points.Â
The Blue Devils close the fall portion of their schedule with the Elite Invitational on Sunday, November 17 in Philadelphia, Pa.
