DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke fencing team heads to its final fall competition this weekend with the Elite Invitational, hosted by Penn. Competition begins Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the Tse Center.Â
The sixth-ranked Blue Devil women are slated to face No. 3 Columbia, No. 4 Princeton, No. 10 Ohio State, No. 14 Stanford and Air Force. The 10th-ranked Duke men will square off with No. 3 Columbia, No. 4 Princeton, No. 6 Ohio State, Air Force and Stanford.Â
In Duke's last event, it hosted North Carolina in Card Gym on November 2. The men downed the Tar Heels 15-12 while the women fell by the same score. Â
Following the Elite Invitational, Duke will open its spring 2025 season at the Philadelphia Invitational Jan. 18-19.Â
