DURHAM, N.C.— Inside Lacrosse has announced its Class of 2024 Power 100 of this year's freshman class and Duke men's lacrosse is well represented with eight first-year players earning a mention.
The Blue Devils' eight selections are tied with Virginia and North Carolina for the most of any program. Duke landed two in the top four with USA Lacrosse High School Boys' National Player of the Year

Ben McCarthy is tabbed No. 4 while attackman
Liam Kershis rounds out the Blue Devils' top 25 listings at No. 22. Attackman
Austin Hicks, hailing from California, is No. 49, midfielders
Connor Nolen, Luke Warrington and
Ian Dykes come in at 42nd, 57th and 62nd, respectively. Rookie goalie
Buck Cunningham rounds out the Duke contingent at No. 69.
Four of the eight selections are in the top 10 of their position with Menendez, McCarthy and Kershis ranking in the top five.
These eight Blue Devils are among the 10 first-year Blue Devils. The class hails from eight different states – California, Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. The Class of 2024 is bolstered by nine graduate student transfers with a wealth of experience and success at their previous institutions.
The Blue Devils commenced full fall lacrosse practices Sept. 30. The team has been training since being back on campus at the end of August and will continue through the fall semester.
