DURHAM – With the New Year here, head coach Kerstin Kimel and her staff announced the 2024 Duke women's lacrosse schedule.
The 17-game regular season spans from February 9 to April 18. The slate features six contests against opponents who were selected to the 2023 NCAA Championship field, including National Championship runner-up Boston College, and seven against USA Lacrosse Magazine preseason top-20 programs.
Koskinen Stadium will host 10 games, including five ACC tilts against Clemson (Feb. 24), Pitt (March 9), Boston College (March 23), Virginia (March 30) and Louisville (April 12). Duke will open ACC road action March 2 at Syracuse, followed by Virginia Tech (March 16), Notre Dame (April 6) and North Carolina (April 18).
Duke kicks off the 2024 season on the road at Navy and High Point before welcoming Johns Hopkins and Winthrop to Koskinen Stadium in mid February. Duke closes a busy February with three games in seven days, beginning with ACC opponent Clemson on Feb. 24.
Kimel's squad will play seven games in the month of March, highlighted by five ACC opponents. Duke will face off against Harvard, East Carolina and Campbell amid conference play in March and April.
Duke will then turn its attention to the postseason, beginning with the ACC Tournament April 21-28. The first round will be contested at campus sights followed by quarterfinals, semifinals and the championship in Charlotte at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
Season tickets are available for purchase for $50 and are good for admission for all 10 home women's lacrosse games. Single game tickets will go on sale January 22.
