DURHAM – The Duke fencing team is set to kick off 2024 this weekend at the Philadelphia Invitational.
Competition will kick off both days at 8:30 a.m., with two days of tough competition.

Omar Elgeziry's program enters the New Year ranked on both sides as the men and women check in at No. 9 nationally. Duke is coming off a successful 2023 fall season and look to carry that momentum this winter.
LAST TIME OUT
Duke last competed Nov. 19 at the Elite Invitational at Ohio State as the women went 5-1 while the men finished 2-3.
Rachel Kowalsky (epee) headlined the women's performances with eight victories while
Stephen Kim (saber) tallied 10 wins.
UP NEXT
Following the Philadelphia Invitational, Duke will compete against Harvard on Friday, Jan. 26 before the Eric Sollee Invitational in Waltham, Mass.
