DURHAM – Duke fencing head coach
Omar Elgeziry announced the 2023-24 competition schedule Thursday.
In addition to two fall competition dates, the winter slate features four regular season meets, including the annual home meet.

The Duke fencing team will kick off the 2023-24 season Nov. 4-5 at the Temple Open before attending Ohio State's Elite Invitational on Nov. 19.
To start the new year, Duke will compete Jan. 20-21 at the Philadelphia Invitational before dueling against Harvard on Jan. 26. The Blue Devils will close out the month of January at the Eric Sollee Invitational Jan. 27, which is hosted by Brandeis.
Duke starts the month of February with its annual home meet to compete in front of its home crowd Feb. 10-11 in Card Gymnasium.
Elgeziry's team will then turn its attention to the postseason, beginning with the ACC Championships Feb. 24-25 in South Bend, Ind., hosted by Notre Dame.
Next on the slate for Duke's qualifiers will be the NCAA Regional March 9. The 2024 campaign will conclude with the NCAA Fencing Championship March 21-24 hosted by Ohio State.
The Duke women's squad finished the 2023 campaign 21-4 overall while the men played to a 14-10 record.
