DURHAM – Entering the 53rd season in program history and head coach 
Jolene Nagel's 25th at the helm of the Blue Devils, the Duke volleyball team travels to Davidson for an exhibition match Saturday at 2 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
	- The Blue Devils concluded the 2022 season 16-13 overall and 7-11 in ACC action. Nagel returns 12 letterwinners from a season ago, including first team All-ACC honoree Gracie Johnson and All-ACC Freshman Team selection Kerry Keefe, in addition to five newcomers.
- During her Duke tenure, Nagel has led the Blue Devils to 13 NCAA Tournament appearances and 14 seasons with 20 or more victories.
BREAKING DOWN THE 2023 ROSTER
Freshmen: Lauren Ingram, Nikki Quinn & Grace Thrower

	- In addition to the three freshmen, Duke welcomes two graduate students in Jess Robinson (Michigan) and Emma Worthington (Cornell).
- As well as some new faces, the offseason saw the return of 2021 graduate Mackenzie Cole to the coaching staff as assistant coach/director of operations.
AGAINST THE WILDCATS
	- Duke and Davidson meet in an exhibition setting for the second consecutive year as the Blue Devils secured a 3-1 win last season at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
SCOUTING DAVIDSON
	- The Wildcats ended the 2022 season 23-11 overall and 14-4 in the Atlantic 10. Davidson made a run late into the NIVC postseason. 2022 A10 Co-Coach of the Year, Chris Willis, returns at the helm in addition to the 2022 A10 Rookie of the Year, Emma Slusser and two-time A10 Libero of the Year, Bella Brady.
UP NEXT
	- Duke opens the 2023 campaign Aug. 25-27 at the Reamer Club Xtra Special Premier, hosted by Purdue.
- The Blue Devils are slated to face the No. 16 Boilermakers, No. 18 Creighton and Loyola Chicago in West Lafayette, Ind.
