Thirty-One Named to All-ACC Academic Team

DURHAM – Thirty-one members of the Duke rowing program were named to the 2023 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the league office Monday.
Seniors Megan Lee and Emilie Lijesen received the honor for the third consecutive year, while graduate student Ella Harris and seniors Lauren Sizemore and Caeley Tierney earned the acknowledgement for the second time in their careers.
The Blue Devils had twenty-six student-athletes receive recognition for the first time in their Blue Devil tenure. Duke's first-time picks were Lily Abbott, Lauren Brandmeyer, Nora Conaty, Noelle Fuchs, Stella Haley, Erin Heyeck, Mia Khamish, Audrey Kline, Ava Liebmann, Morgan Linsley, Grace Matos, Anna McKane, Justine Medveckus, Lena Mills, Francesca Morland, Brenna Morley, Kathryn Nash, Chelsea Proutt, Charlotte Sendek, Ithika Senthilnathan, Shae Simpson, Nikita Suri, Erin Temple, Ashley Whipple and Chloe Zollman.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's regattas.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
