Duke Primed for NCAA Diving Zones

DURHAM - The Duke swimming and diving program continues its run through the postseason on Sunday Mar. 5, as the NCAA Diving Zones begin in Knoxville, Tenn. The Blue Devils will send eight competitors to the competition to earn a spot in the NCAA Championships later this month.

NOTABLES

Freshman Evan Brown and Yannis Schattman, sophomore Will McCollum, junior Seamus Harding Jr. and senior Jonah Cagley will represent the men, while junior Emily Rakestraw and seniors Kate Mullin and Ali Watson will represent the women.
Harding Jr. heads into the diving zones a year removed from his 2022 Platform Diving All-ACC award. Harding finished fifth in the men's platform dive at the ACC Championships, collecting a score of 367.50.
Mullin capped off the 2022-23 regular season with a third-place finish in the 1-meter and 3-meter events at North Carolina.
McCollum finished third in the meet at North Carolina, posting a score of 326.10 in the 1-meter, while Hardin Jr. finished second, the highest of the bunch.
Watson heads back to NCAA Zones in 2023 after being named an All-ACC recipient in 2020 and 2021 in the Platform Diving event.
