DURHAM - The Duke fencing team concluded the 2023 NCAA Fencing Championship Sunday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.Â
As a team, Duke finished ninth with 73 points, marking its 12th top-10 finish in the past 13 seasons under head coach Alex Beguinet.Â
Junior co-captain Christina Ferrari headlined the women's performances the last two days and finished in 13th overall in foil. Fellow foilist and freshman Rachel Koo came in 18th in her first trip to the national stage.Â
In saber, freshman Kunling Tong placed 19th while senior Anneke Zegers came in 23rd. Junior epeeist Chloe Beittel rounded out Duke's performances Sunday in 22nd.Â
Notre Dame captured the team championship with 188 points, followed by Princeton (175), Columbia (156), Harvard (134) and Ohio State (121) rounded out the top five.Â
