The Opening Faceoff

- The attack unit of Andrew McAdorey, Brennan O'Neill and Dyson Williams have paced the Blue Devils. The trio has combined for 97 of the team's 168 points with all three having at least 24 points to their names. Duke has gotten goals from 19 different players this season.

- Junior faceoff specialist Jake Naso sports a .649 win percentage at the dot to rank sixth nationally. He is tied for the most faceoffs taken of any draw man in the country (174). UNC's Andrew Tyeryar has a .567 success rate at the dot to rank third in the ACC.

- North Carolina makes the trip down Tobacco Road with a 4-2 overall record and 1-0 mark in ACC play. The 14th-ranked Tar Heels are coming off a commanding 19-6 win over Brown.
- A graduate student transfer from Bryant, Logan McGovern paces the offense with 24 points from 14 goals and 10 assists.
