Quotes
"Today was definitely a good day. We played really good doubles and I thought that we set the tone for our singles with our doubles. We were aggressive and we didn't give away a lot of free points in doubles in front of a pretty hostile crowd, which says a lot about where our mental state was in the end of those doubles matches. In singles, I thought in the places we won we played well. Chloe [Beck] played a really good match. Her opponent, Carol Lee, is a very good player. And I thought Chloe had to raise the level of where she's been the last couple of weeks. Even some of the matches we lost - Cam [Morra] did a good job of staying on the court and not giving Georgia Tech a point there. And the same with Iuliia [Bryzgalova]. I thought that we left the weekend better than we started the weekend. But we still have a little way to go here and we will work on some things over the next 10 days before we play again."-- Duke head coach
Jamie Ashworth
"I mean, it's super special. I think the team is doing a good job treating every match the same, and just trying to appreciate and take advantage of the opportunities. So, I don't think that we thought too much of the situation. We didn't even know that it had been so many years since we had won an away match there [at Georgia Tech], but I think that kind of helped us be able to play free in those big moments." -- Duke senior
Chloe Beck on the win at Georgia Tech
"Honestly, just my fight. I think regardless of how I feel like I'm striking the ball, as long as I'm being loud, cheering for my teammates and pumping myself up. I think things usually fall into place. So, I'm just proud of the way that I showed up and fought today in the match." -- Duke senior
