LAST TIME OUT - REGIONALS

- A fencer's performance at regionals will have a direct impact on their chance at qualifying for the NCAA Championship, as both the regular season resumé and placing at the regional meet will be considered when the field is selected next week.
FENCE FOR THE FIGHT
- The fencing team, in partnership with the Duke Cancer Institute, announced the Fence for the Fight campaign will relaunch for the 2023 season in memoriam of Elizabeth Beguinet. Elizabeth, Director of Administration and Recruiting for the Duke fencing program, passed away December 17 after a long fight with breast cancer.
- With 1,406 wins so far this season in combination with pledging, the Fence for the Fight campaign has totaled $57,173.70.
- Please support both Elizabeth and Duke fencing by partnering with us and the Duke Cancer Institute by making a pledge to fight breast cancer. With your support, the money raised will go towards cancer research, care of patients and a room dedicated in the Duke Cancer Center in honor of Elizabeth. More information
