DURHAM — Duke women's basketball signee Jadyn Donovan has been named to the 2023 Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Girls All-America First Team, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Wednesday afternoon.
Coming off a runner-up finish in the ISL AA title game, Donovan has led Sidwell Friends High School to an outstanding season as the Quakers are currently ranked No. 2 and No. 6, respectively, in the SCNext and MaxPreps High School Girls Basketball Top-25 rankings, boasting a 26-3 overall record and 13-0 mark in conference play.
Slotted No. 3 in the 2023 Class rankings, Donovan leads Sidwell Friends in scoring (15.0), rebounds (8.2) and field goal percentage (50.0 percent). The Washington, D.C., product is also third on the team in assists (3.1), steals (2.1) and blocks per game (1.1).
Along with Donovan, the other members of the first team include Kamorea Arnold, Zoe Brooks, Judea "JuJu" Watkins and Mikaylah Williams.
