DURHAM - With the spring season just around the corner, the Duke women's lacrosse program shines its spotlight on its freshman class, beginning with Reagan Digby.
Digby comes to Durham from Cherry Hills, Colo., where she attended Valor Christian High School.
Most recently as a senior attacker, she broke the Valor Christian record for a single season in all-time points and assists as a two-time captain. Over the course of her high school career, she was named an All-American three times, was a first team All-State and first team All-League selection and was named the league's most valuable player.
She also lettered in field hockey as a forward where she was on the varsity squad as a freshman and a two-time state runner-up.
Digby joins seven other Blue Devils in the freshmen class.
Why did you choose Duke?
"I chose Duke because of the amazing culture that Coach Kimel has built since she pioneered the program. I also want to make history with the women's lacrosse program and win a National Championship. Duke's academic excellence is also unmatched."
