DURHAM – As the NWSL opens training camps across the league, the Duke women's soccer program is well-represented with 11 players earning camp invites. Â

Michelle Cooper (Kansas City),
Sophie Jones (Chicago) and
Delaney Graham (Washington), along with Ella Stevens (Chicago), Quinn (OL Reign), Lily Nabet (Angel City),
Mackenzie Pluck (Angel City), Imani Dorsey (Gotham FC), Tess Boade (NC Courage), Caitlin Cosme (Orlando) and Mia Gyau (San Diego). Â
The 11th season of the NWSL will open Saturday, March 25 and will run through November. Each team will play 22 regular season contests. Â
Cooper was selected No. 2 overall in the 2023 NWSL Draft, while Jones and Graham went in the fourth round to give the Blue Devils 20 NWSL Draft selections since the league opened. Graham recently had surgery after her Duke career concluded and will not be available in training camp for the Spirit. Â
Pluck, a product of North Wales, Pa., received an invite from Angel City to training camp after finishing up a five-year career with the Blue Devils. She started 78-of-107 career contests, while notching 21 goals, 29 assists and 71 points. Her 29 assists ranked tied fourth on Duke's all-time charts. Â
Stevens is coming off a season where she started 10-of-20 matches for the Red Stars, while notching four goals and two assists. A 2020 Duke graduate, Stevens saw action in 783 minutes last year.
Boade, who turned professional in 2022, joined the Courage late and by the end of the season started four of her five matches played. She scored two goals and added an assist in 330 minutes. Â
Entering her fourth season in the professional ranks, Gyau played five matches this past year for San Diego. The 2020 Duke graduate logged 137 minutes on the defensive end. Â
One of the top midfielders in the league, Quinn saw action in 18 matches along with 15 starts a season ago for the OL Reign. Quinn, a 2018 Blue Devil graduate, tallied one assist and helped the squad notch nine clean sheets. Â
Dorsey, a 2018 Duke graduate, is coming off another solid season in the NWSL starting 19-of-21 matches on the defensive end. She logged 1,689 minutes and helped the team collect three shutouts. Â
In her rookie season, Nabet appeared in 10 matches and made two starts in the midfield for Angel City. She saw action in 205 minutes in her first year. Â
Due to injuries, Cosme did not see action in her rookie season with the Pride. Â
