LIMERICK, Ireland – The United States U-21 Men's Lacrosse National Team capped pool play earlier today with a 17-2 victory over Australia to finish atop Pool A standings. Blue Devils

Brennan O'Neill each have been instrumental in the United States' success thus far at the 2022 World Lacrosse U-21 World Championship.
After opening with a hard-fought 7-5 triumph against rival Canada – which included a pair of goals from O'Neill and a dominant showing at the faceoff dot by Naso – the U.S. proceeded to win its next three games by a combined 47-7 score.
Brower was named the U.S. Player of the Game following a 13-2 win against the Haudenosaunee squad. He provided lockdown defense and helped kickstart the transition game en route to victory. O'Neill has contributed eight goals and three assists for 11 points in the four games.
Caputo has also been a key member of the faceoff wing and in the defensive midfield for the United States. He was selected to carry the flag for the third game of the tournament Saturday.
The Red, White and Blue is back in action for the quarterfinals Aug. 17 against the winner between Puerto Rico and Germany. Faceoff is set for 2 p.m. (ET) on ESPN+. The winner advances to the semifinals Aug. 18 at 2 p.m.
The medal round is Aug. 20 with the final set for 2 p.m., on ESPN+. Full results and schedule can be found here:
