DURHAM – Incoming freshman attacker Eva Pronti was named All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year, as announced this week.

Pronti ended her final year at Victor Senior High School before heading to Durham with an impressive 152 points. She tallied 67 goals and dished 85 assists to showcase her feeding abilities as an offensive threat outside of scoring.

Pronti and fellow incoming freshman Madison Beale were both named Player of the Year in their respective regions.

Head coach Kerstin Kimel brings a wealth of talent to Duke with its 2022 signing class: Beale, Pronti, Ava Biancardi, Madison Drebing, Maddie Holden, Kaylie Mackiewicz and Sydney Smith.
