DURHAM – Eight members of the Duke women's lacrosse team were named to the 2022 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Duke was represented by
Catriona Barry, Cubby Biscardi, Olivia Carner, Katie DeSimone, Maddie Jenner, Maddie Johnston, Sophia LeRose and
Reilly Traynor.
All nine of the league's women's lacrosse programs are represented on the All-ACC Academic Team, which includes 25 student-athletes that earned Inside Lacrosse All-America honors this season. Thirty members of the All-ACC Academic Team also were named to the 2022 All-ACC Team. Boston College, Duke and Notre Dame led all schools with eight honorees on the All-ACC Academic Team.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career for undergraduate students. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
