DURHAM – Nine members of the Duke men's lacrosse team have been selected to the 2022 ACC Men's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the league office Tuesday. Duke's nine selections were the most among the five teams in the league.
Earning recognition for their excellence on the field as well as in the classroom are
Mike Adler, Kenny Brower, Tyler Carpenter, Andrew McAdorey, Nakeie Montgomery, Jake Naso, Brennan O'Neill, Joe Robertson and Dyson Williams.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
Adler, Carpenter, Naso and O'Neill garner their second career All-ACC Academic Team honor, while Robertson picks up his third career recognition. Brower, McAdorey and Williams all capture their first career honors.
McAdorey was the lone freshman to be recognized and one of six underclassmen to garner the award. Naso and O'Neill are two of the four sophomores in the league to earn notice in each of their first two seasons.

Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
