Nakeie Montgomery headlined the Blue Devils' six selections to the 2022 USILA All-America teams, garnering First-Team All-America honors for the second consecutive season.

Montgomery becomes just the fourth Blue Devil midfielder to garner first-team All-America recognition twice in his career, joining
Deemer Class (2014, 2016),
Myles Jones (2015, 2016) and
Kevin Cassese (2002, 2003). It is the first USILA All-America mention for Brower, while Carpenter repeats as a third-team choice.

O'Neill each were named to both the USA Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse All-America teams, while McAdorey earns his first postseason award. The group of five also represented Duke on the All-ACC squad.
Duke's midfielder leader for the past two seasons, Montgomery finished the 2022 campaign with 29 goals and 19 assists for a career-best 48 points. He registered seven hat tricks this season, including in three ACC contests, and finished his career with 16.
Starting 53 games over the course of his five seasons in Durham, Montgomery departed Durham ranked 28th in scoring with 87 goals and 67 assists for 154 points. Over the course of his career, he helped the Blue Devils advance to championship weekend three times, including the NCAA runner-up in 2018. In his first two seasons, Montgomery amassed 55 points with 16 as a rookie and 39 in his sophomore campaign.
Duke's leading scorer for the second consecutive season, O'Neill finished his sophomore season with 53 goals and 23 assists for 74 points. He was one of two Division I players to register at least six goals in three different games and finished the campaign with 10 hat tricks overall.
O'Neill's 53 goals are tied for ninth in Duke single-season history, while his 74 points are 16th. A four-time ACC Offensive Player of the Week choice, O'Neill registered 21 goals and 32 points overall in Duke's six ACC contests.
The two-time All-ACC pick has started 33 of his 34 career games and owns 98 goals and 31 assists for 129 points. He is tied as the third fastest Blue Devil to 100 career points, reaching the benchmark in 29 games. He is two goals shy of 100 career goals and is on pace to become the fastest to do so, surpassing Zack Greer's 38-game mark.
The Blue Devils' top cover man on the close defense, Brower consistently drew the opponent's top attackman this season. Brower ranked second among non-faceoff specialists in ground balls with 42 and was third with 16 caused turnovers. He was named to the USILA Team of the Week following his performance in holding Virginia's Connor Shellenberger to just two assists in the 17-8 victory over the Cavaliers.
A starter in all 42 games of his career, Brower has 78 ground balls and 32 caused turnovers. He will represent the United States this summer in the U21 FIL World Championships in Limerick, Ireland.
Carpenter, a longstick midfielder who also played down low at times, led all non-faceoff specialists in the ACC with 67 ground balls (3.94/gm). He collected at least one ground ball in all 17 games this season and corralled at least five in five contests.
Carpenter was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week following his performance against Denver, picking up seven ground balls and dishing an assist. He finished the season ranked second on the team in caused turnovers with 17. A threat in transition, Carpenter contributed three goals and two assists in 2022.
Duke's anchor in goal, Adler finished the 2022 campaign with a .550 save percentage and an 11.24 goals against average. He ranked second in the ACC and 14th nationally in save percentage, while his 13.06 saves per game were second in the league.
A 2021 USILA All-America third team choice, Adler made at least 10 saves in 14 of his 17 outings this season and amassed 15-plus in seven contests. He was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week three times, including after making 20 saves in a commanding 17-8 victory over Virginia.
Adler, after a stellar three seasons in the cage at Saint Joseph's, completed his collegiate career with the Blue Devils. In his 34 games for Duke, Adler finished with a 10.59 goals against average and a .541 save percentage. He averaged 11.29 saves per game as a Blue Devil. Overall, for his career, Adler played in 69 career games with 68 starting assignments. He ranks 14th in NCAA history in career saves at 810 and is second in minutes played at 3886:24.
Starting all 17 games on Duke's first midfield line, McAdorey had a record-setting rookie season. He finished the year with 23 goals and 16 assists for 39 points – the most of any Duke freshman midfielder in program history.
One of the fastest and most explosive players on the field, McAdorey registered three hat tricks and had 11 goals in Duke's six ACC contests. He scored a career-high six points from four goals and two assists in the win versus Delaware and dished a career-high three assists at High Point.
McAdorey ranked third among all freshmen midfielders nationally in points per game (2.29) and assists per game (0.94).
Duke finished the 2022 season with an 11-6 record and 3-3 mark in ACC play.
