Barry Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District III

DURHAM – Duke attacker Catriona Barry was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) 2022 Academic All-District® III Women's At-Large Team.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Honorees selected First-Team Academic All-District® will advance to the Academic All-America® ballot and honorees for Division I will be announced mid-June.
Barry earned the honor for the first time in her career.
After being named one of 25 Tewaaraton Award nominees, Barry was unstoppable this season for the Blue Devils as arguably one of the best offensive players in the country.
With at least four goals in nine of the 20 games this season, Barry leads the team with 56 goals and 37 assists for 93 points. In Duke's 22-13 victory over High Point (2/20/22), the Napa, Calif., native tallied 11 points (7G, 4A), which tied for first on Duke's individual single-game records list. In Duke's victory at Virginia Tech, Barry dished a career-high six dimes, which ties for first on Duke's individual single game records list.
Barry closed her Duke career with 193 career points to rank 11th in program history. Her 93 points this spring are third in Duke history.
