After being named one of 25 Tewaaraton Award nominees recently, Barry has been unstoppable this season for the Blue Devils and is arguably one of the best offensive players in the country. With at least four goals in nine of the 18 games this season, Barry leads the team with 53 goals and 33 assists for 86 points. In Duke's 22-13 victory over High Point (2/20/22), the Napa, Calif., native tallied 11 points (7G, 4A), which tied for first on Duke's individual single-game records list. In Duke's victory at Virginia Tech, Barry dished a career-high six dimes, which ties for first on Duke's individual single game records list.
An attacker and draw specialist Jenner returned to the circle in 2022 as the best in the sport at the draw and has been spectacular this spring with 219 draws in 18 games. In Duke's win at High Point, Jenner grabbed a career-high 21, surpassing her previous best of 19. That is the most in a single game in Duke history, besting her sister Olivia's 20 in 2019. She is instrumental in helping control the tempo of the game by winning the draw and allowing Duke to hold possession. She also owns 30 points (28G, 2A) this season. Over the course of her career, she has amassed 590 total draws and is the nation's NCAA active career leader in draw controls per game (9.37) and total draw controls (590). She broke Duke's all-time draw control record in the win over Davidson on March 20, 2022, a record previously owned by her sister, Olivia. She is currently tied for second in NCAA history and is 55 from breaking the NCAA career record.
A sophomore attacker, DeSimone has had standout performances on the offensive front for the Blue Devils this season. The native of Bay Shore, N.Y., is second on the team with 80 points (55G, 25A) and is shooting .500 percent. DeSimone ranks 31st nationally in total points this season and has 12 games with four-or-more points. She also owns 19 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. In Duke's setback at No. 3 Syracuse, DeSimone dished a career-high five dimes, which ties for second on Duke's single-game records list.
A junior midfielder, Carner has taken huge strides this season both offensively and defensively and was named to the Tewaaraton Watch List for her efforts. She is third on the team with 46 points from 27 goals and 19 assists and is shooting .458 percent. Defensively, she is second on the squad with an impressive 31 caused turnovers and also has 20 draw controls and 19 ground balls. Against Pittsburgh and Penn, Carner was stellar for Duke on both sides of the field. She tallied a career-high six points (3G, 3A) and a career-high four caused turnovers against Pittsburgh. She followed that performance with three goals against Penn. She has registered three-or-more points in 10 contests this season.
A junior defender, Biscardi has helped spearhead a tough Duke defense all season. Duke's scoring defense (10.50 GAA) is 22nd nationally and third in the conference, while its 11.72 caused turnovers per game is fifth nationally. Individually, Biscardi is ranked 10th nationally with 2.06 caused turnovers per game and posted a career-high five caused turnover performance against Penn. She owns 67 career caused turnovers, just one away from moving into the top 15 on Duke's all-time records list as just a junior.
As a midfielder, Landry has started to breakthrough on the offensive front the last few games. As arguably Duke's most complete player, Landry is shooting .464 percent and owns 26 goals and five assists for 31 points. She also has picked up nine ground balls and three caused turnovers. In Duke's setback to Notre Dame in the ACC quarterfinal game, Landry posted a career-high five goals to pace Duke's offense. She owns four hat tricks this season, all in the month of April.
