SOUTH BEND, Ind. – No. 7 Duke dropped a 19-11 decision to No. 20 Notre Dame in quarterfinal action at the 2022 ACC Women's Lacrosse Championship in South Bend, Ind.
With the setback, the Blue Devils drop to 15-3 overall, while the Fighting Irish improve to 9-8.

Abby Landry's career day. Landry finished the day with a career-high five goals while sophomore
Katie DeSimone tallied four points off of two goals and two dimes. Senior
Anna Callahan registered a goal and an assist.
Duke got in a hole early and trailed 8-2 after the opening 15 minutes. Trailing 11-2 at 9:55 in the second quarter, the Blue Devils found the back of the cage twice in under 60 seconds by way of Landry and
Maddie Jenner (11-4).
The Fighting Irish went 11-for-11 with 11 goals on 11 shots to take a 14-6 lead heading into halftime.
Following the break, Notre Dame tacked on three more goals to lead 17-6 and put Duke on the wrong side of the clock as it continued to run.
Duke started to put a run together with three consecutive goals as Landry tallied two and Keller found the back of the net once to make the score 17-9 with 6:55 remaining in the game. The two squads traded the next four goals, but Duke's run fell short.
Junior defender
Cubby Biscardi led the way with a career-high four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Junior midfielder
Olivia Carner tallied three caused turnovers and three ground balls.
The Fighting Irish were led by Jackie Wolak with eight points from two goals and six assists while Madison Ahern added five goals and a dime. Goalkeeper Bridget Deehan tallied 10 saves in cage.
