Adler Climbing the Charts
Duke goaltender
Mike Adler continues to inch his way up the NCAA career charts. The native of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., matched his career high with 20 saves against No. 6 Virginia to push his career total to 782. He is six away from taking over the No. 15 spot and 18 away from becoming the 14th goalie in NCAA Division I lacrosse history to make 800 career saves.
Adler has spent a lot of time between the pipes during his career – 3,768:45 to be exact. He ranks sixth all-time in career minutes played and is only 101 shy of moving to No. 2 on the chart. Blaze Riorden of Albany holds the record at 4,040 – the only goalie in NCAA Division I history to reach 4,000 career minutes.
The veteran backstop currently leads the ACC with a .556 save percentage, edging Notre Dame goalie Liam Entenmann (.553). Adler's 12.93 saves per game are just behind North Carolina goalie Collin Krieg's 13.25 average.
Stephenson is Comfortable
Senior captain
Wilson Stephenson has risen to the occasion for the Blue Devil defense this season. The graduation of 2022 National Defenseman of the Year
JT Giles-Harris left a significant void to fill.
