Hoffman ran 56.55 seconds in the final to finish as event runner-up, marking the third straight race in which she has registered a faster time than what her school record was entering the 2022 outdoor campaign (56.98).
The Blue Devils also received top-three showings from Marsh and Wakefield in the heptathlon at the Texas Relays. The duo's point totals check in second and third nationally.
Competing at the Raleigh Relays, Reinhart capped the first day of competition at the meet with another historic performance for the Blue Devils – this one coming in the 10,000m. The Louisville, Ky., native clocked a personal best of 33:22.49 to finish fifth among the field, shaving over four seconds off her No. 4 all-time Duke mark. Reinhart's time currently stands fifth in the country.
