SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Junior saberist Terence Lee captured silver to close out the 2022 NCAA Fencing Championship Sunday in South Bend, Ind.
Lee posted the second-best finish in Duke men's program history behind 1996 national champion Jeremy Kahn. This medal marks the first All-America honor of his career.Â
Lee entered the final day of competition in fourth overall and secured a spot in the semifinal bout as the fourth seed. The Hong Kong native faced off against top-seeded Fares Ferjani of St. John's and battled to a 15-14 victory to send him to the championship bout.
