DURHAM – Duke swimming and diving sophomore
Sarah Foley has been named Duke's PNC Achievers Student-Athlete of the Week, following her pair All-America honors at the Women's NCAA Championship last weekend in Atlanta, Ga.
Foley, who held the previous school records for both the 200 individual medley and the 200 breaststroke, broke her own school record in each event leading her to earn first-team All-America (sixth, 1:54.38) and an honorable-mention All-America (ninth, 2:05.78) accolades, respectively.
The Philadelphia, Pa. native became the third Blue Devil in program history to earn multiple All-America honors at single NCAA Championship. Foley led Duke to its third-highest team finish in program history, placing 24th as a team.
