Audi Field Details
- Saturday's Capitol Classic Lacrosse Tournament features three games. Catholic and Hampden-Sydney square off the opening contest at noon before it is a rematch of the 2021 NCAA Championship game between No. 1 Maryland and No. 2 Virginia. Duke caps the day of lacrosse at 6 p.m., against Towson.
- There is not stadium parking lots connected with Audi Field. Fans should plan to arrive early to find street parking. It is advised to use http://www.spothero.com to reserve a spot in advance. The Opening Faceoff
- The Blue Devils are 7-3 overall and continue their four-game road swing in the nation's capitol this weekend when they take on Towson at Audi Field. Duke looks to rebound from a 12-10 loss at Loyola.
- Towson comes into Saturday's contest with a 3-4 overall record. The Tigers most recently suffered an 11-8 setback to Saint Joseph's last weekend. Towson owns wins over Loyola, UMBC and Mount St. Mary's.
- Dyson Williams continues to lead the way for the Blue Devils with 27 goals and eight assists for 35 points. The junior has a hat trick in seven of the 10 games this season. Brennan O'Neill has 26 goals and 33 points and Sean Lulley has 18 goals and 31 points.
- Nakeie Montgomery has 10 points in the past three games and has 30 points, while Andrew McAdorey has 25. Duke is averaging 15.80 goals per game to rank eighth nationally.
- Defensively, Kenny Brower draws the opponent's top attackman and has 10 caused turnovers and 28 ground balls. Wilson Stephenson has 14 caused turnovers and 18 GBs, while Tyler Carpenter has 11 and 40, respectively.
- In goal, Mike Adler has been solid, averaging 12.60 saves per game and sporting a .543 save percentage. He made a career-high 20 saves in the win over Richmond.

- Towson averages 11.29 goals per game and has failed to score 10 goals twice this season. James Avanzato paces the offense with 28 points from 14 goals and 14 assists. Nick DeMaio has a team-best 19 goals and Lyle Berkeley and Luke Shilling have contributed 20 and 17 points, respectively.
- Koby Smith is the top takeaway artist with 11 caused turnovers and 12 ground balls. Reagan McNemar has eight caused turnovers and 18 ground balls, while Reece Potter has seven and 20, respectively.
- The duo of Matt Constantinides and Shane Santora combine to handle faceoff duties. Constantinides is 43-of-106 at the dot with 21 ground balls and Santora is 31-of-73.

Series History
- Duke and Towson are meeting for the 13th time and for the fourth time since 2018. The two teams did not play in 2020 due to COVID-19. The Blue Devils have won the past four outings, but the Tigers hold a 7-5 lead in the overall series.
- Two of the past three games have been two-goal victories for the Blue Devils - 2018 (10-8), 2019 (12-10). Duke defeated the Tigers 19-7 last season.
Last Time We Met
- Duke scored 11 first-half goals and never looked back en route to a commanding 19-7 victory at Towson last season. Four Blue Devils registered hat tricks, with Brennan O'Neill leading the way in goals with four and Michael Sowers compiling a team-high six points.
- Defensively, Duke was outstanding, holding Towson to just 28 shots for the game, including only 19 through the first three periods. Jake Naso dominated at the X, winning 21-of-25 faceoffs and picking up 11 ground balls.
