DURHAM – Duke track and field announced Tuesday changes to its weekend schedule.
The Blue Devils were originally slated to send student-athletes to the Boston University Valentine Invitational and the Darius Dixon Invitational (Lynchburg, Va.) beginning Friday but have since replaced one of the events. Duke will no longer participate in the Valentine Invitational but will add the Tyson Invitational (Fayetteville, Ark.) and the Indoor Music City Challenge (Nashville, Tenn.) to its weekend schedule instead.
Most of Duke's team will still compete at the Darius Dixon Invitational, which runs Friday through Saturday.
The Blue Devils will also send five student-athletes in junior
Jenna Crean, freshmen
Abby Geiser and
Megan McGinnis, as well as graduate students
Lauren Hoffman and
Erin Marsh to the Tyson Invitational on Friday and Saturday. Graduate students
Nick Dahl and
Michaela Reinhart will represent Duke at the Music City Challenge on Friday.
Additional information on the three meets will be provided later in the week.
