CHRISTIANBURG, Va. – Six members of the Duke swimming program recorded career-best times Sunday in the final day of the Hokie Invitational in Christiansburg, Va.
Senior
Colson Zucker placed fourth in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:58.73, a career best and the eighth-fastest time in program history. Rookies
Henry Batson (2:01.64) and
Michael Volpe (2:03.74) also recorded a career-best time in the 200 breaststroke.
In the 200 backstroke, freshman
Jack Christian led the way for the Blue Devils as he clocked 1:46.82, good for ninth all-time at Duke. He was followed by classmate
Evan Greer with a time of 1:47.61.
Sophomore
Andrew O'Brien rounded out the Blue Devils career times on Sunday, recording a mark of 46.26 in the 100 freestyle.
Next up for the Blue Devils is the ACC Championship. A combined meet this season, the men's and women's championships will run February 15-19 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga.
