DURHAM – The Duke women's golf program is set to open the 2022 spring slate this weekend as the Blue Devils travel to Melbourne, Fla., for the 2022 Moon Golf Invitational. The invitational will take place Feb. 20-22 at the Suntree Country Club on the 6,417-yard, Par 72 Classic Course.
The field features nine top-25 teams, including five in the top 10 in the GolfStat.com rankings – South Carolina (3), Arkansas (6), Florida (7), Virginia (8), Alabama (9), Baylor (15), Auburn (17), Duke (19) and LSU (21), Augusta State, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina and UCF.
Teams will play 18 holes each day and fans can follow the action live on www.GolfStat.com.

Gina Kim turning professional, Duke features a roster this spring without any seniors for only the second time over the last 23 years. The only other time was in the 2011-12 campaign.
In the fall, Duke carded a season-best second-place ledger at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate as the Blue Devils fired a seven-under, 857. Shepherd, who hails from Greenwood, S.C., paced Duke with a 71.70 stroke average and collected three top-five finishes in four tournaments. She heads into the spring on the ANNIKA Award Watch List for player of the year accolades.

Dan Brooks is in his 38th season at the helm at Duke. He owns seven NCAA Championships, 21 ACC titles and a NCAA-record 140 team victories.
Duke will open action on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 9:50 a.m., along with Alabama and Arkansas.
