QUOTES
- "That's a collective success story. That was the best part of the trip at the end of the day. There was a lot of good that came out of this trip. It wasn't just because of the scenery and pictures and everything else. There was a lot to grow from. But I don't want to stop there and say 'nice win.' Heading into the spring, we have to still be willing to look at things that we could've done a little bit better. If the goal is to be the best team in the country, you have to find out where those shots are. We'll continue to make sure we're growing and that we're not taking anything for granted." – head coach Jamie Green on Duke's weekend performance and how the Blue Devils will carry the momentum into the spring schedule.
- "It was great to be in the thick of it. It was the closest I've been to an individual win during my time here at Duke. It felt really great to have the nerves flowing a little bit down the stretch. To see my teammates and friends supporting me on the 18th green meant a lot. We had an incredible week as a team, and we worked really hard. We played some incredible golf and I'm really happy to walk away with a team win. We did a lot of great things on the way to a team record." – Luke Sample after his career-best finish.
UP NEXT
- Duke returns to action in 2023 for its spring schedule, traveling to the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico, hosted at TPC Dorado Beach from February 26-28.
