QUOTES
- "Last night was a really well played exhibition between two good ball clubs. I thought both teams did a good job pounding the zone and defending. We took better swings than the hit total showed, but I am very happy with how our young pitchers responded to their first true road environment. I really appreciate Coach Forbes and his staff for having us down." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the opportunity to play a road exhibition game at North Carolina.
UP NEXT
- Duke baseball continues the fall slate with exhibition and team practices throughout the next month, concluding the fall with Scout Day on Oct. 28 and the Fall World Series on Nov. 3-5.
