DURHAM, N.C. – Due to the potential winter weather in central North Carolina on Friday, January 21, guests traveling to Duke University West Campus for Duke Women's Tennis vs. Ohio State on Friday, January 21 at 6 p.m., in the Sheffield Center and Duke Men's Basketball vs. Syracuse on Saturday, January 22 at 12 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium should be aware of the following winter weather operations alerts.
Duke University and Duke Athletics encourage all guests to use caution while driving and walking around campus. Guests are asked to park only in the designated lots for each event listed below, to not use closed stairwells and avoid uncleared walkways whenever possible.

ALERT DUKE ATHLETIC FACILITIES OF ICY AREAS
Guests are encouraged to report any icy pedestrian paths or other problem areas to Duke Athletic Facilities & Game Operations via text message by texting "DUKE" to 919-808-5576 (message and data rates may apply) or via Twitter
@Duke_GAMEDAY. Staff will be actively monitoring both services to dispatch staff where needed.
TENNIS MATCH DAY INFORMATION
General Public Parking – Will be available in the
Blue Zone on Wannamaker Drive off Duke University Road. Parking will open at 4 p.m., and is FREE OF CHARGE. Please speak with the parking attendant to receive a parking pass for lot access and instructions to scan in/out of the parking lot.
Entry Information – The main entrance to the Sheffield Center is located off the
Blue Zone B-1 Parking Lot above Court 6. General Public doors open at 5p.m.
COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols – The following health and safety protocols will be in effect for Friday's match:
- Masks/Face Coverings are required for all guests ages 5 and over at all times.
- Consistent with the university's current policy on indoor dining across campus to reduce the risk of COVID transmission during the current surge of the Omicron variant, food and beverages are not permitted inside the Sheffield Center for Friday's match.

MEN'S BASKETBALL GAME DAY OPERATIONS
ENTRY INFORMATION
- Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional Student Entrances to Cameron Indoor Stadium Open at 10:30 a.m.
- All General Public Entrances to Cameron Indoor Stadium Open at 11 a.m. – To avoid impacting clearing efforts, please do not queue outside stadium entrances for an extended period of time prior to the game.
COVID HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS
- COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols for Basketball Game Days at Cameron Indoor Stadium – All guests and staff age 12 and over are required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of Moderna or Pfizer vaccines or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson) OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test (antigen or PCR) within 72 hours of the game. - Guests and staff may upload their vaccination card or negative test result online at DukeCheckIn.com.
- For guests who prefer to not submit online, all verification tent locations are planned to be available for Saturday's game.
- Masks/Face Coverings are required for all guests ages 5 and over at all times.
- Consistent with the university's current policy on indoor dining across campus to reduce the risk of COVID transmission during the current surge of the Omicron variant, no concessions will be available and food and beverage options will be suspended in all hospitality areas for Saturday's game.
IRON DUKE PARKING INFORMATION
- Iron Duke Parking – All Iron Duke Lots will open at 9 a.m., for game day parking. Men's Basketball Iron Duke parking passes must be displayed for access to the designated lots. All Iron Duke Men's Basketball Parking Permit holders for Science Drive Garage must enter and exit the garage from NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
For Iron Duke Parking Permit holders with accessible parking, ADA-lift equipped vans begin operations at 10 a.m., and run until one (1) hour post-game. Vans will run at regular intervals from the Science Drive Visitors' Lot and Science Drive Garage to Whitford Drive. No golf carts will be available for Saturday's game due to the winter weather. An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for guests with disabilities is located at the Science Drive Visitors' Lot. For assistance from another Iron Duke parking lot, speak to the lot attendant for assistance or text "DUACCESS" to 919-808-5576 with request, location, and number of guests. (Example: "DUACCESS Van, Science Dr Visitors Lot, 4 Guests").
In the event snow clearing efforts are required, some surface lots may experience reduced capacity. Should overflow occur, please follow the direction of parking staff as they direct guests to available parking in Science Drive Garage.
GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING INFORMATION
- General Public Parking Passes Available Online in Advance of Arrival – Guests parking in general public lots (including accessible parking) are encouraged to purchase game day parking passes in advance of arrival online at my.parking.duke.edu and clicking on Duke MBB vs. Syracuse event button. Guests who do not already have an account should follow the steps to Register for One Link to purchase a pass. Passes purchased online in advance of arrival are $10. Cash sales at the lot entrance are $15.
- General Public Parking – will be available in the Circuit Lots on Circuit Drive. There is a $15 charge to park at the lot entrance – CASH ONLY. General public parking will be open at 10 a.m.
- General Public Accessible Parking – Will be available in Blue Zone B-5 Lot on Wannamaker Drive off Towerview Road. Towerview Road can be accessed via Duke University Road. There is a $15 charge to park at the lot entrance – CASH ONLY. Accessible parking will open at 10:00 AM. An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for guests with disabilities is available at the back of the Blue Zone B-5 Lot outside the Wilson Gate of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Accessible lift-equipped van service is available from the Blue Zone B-5 Lot at the Wilson Gate of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium to Cameron Indoor Stadium at the Krzyzewskiville Sign. Guests with mobility concerns are encouraged to utilize this service for transportation to/from the stadium.For assistance from another Iron Duke parking lot, speak to the lot attendant for assistance or text "DUACCESS" to 919-808-5576 with request, location, and number of guests. (Example: "DUACCESS Van, Science Dr Visitors Lot, 4 Guests").
An accessible pedestrian route to Cameron Indoor Stadium is also available by following the sidewalk around Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium to the Bostock Gate and Tribull Plaza.Post-game access to the accessible drop-off and pick-up point is permitted on Towerview Drive.
- Rideshare/Taxi Information – The designated drop-off/pick-up location for all taxis, hotel shuttles, and rideshare services is located at the Student Wellness Lot on Towerview Road at Union Drive. The drop-off/pick-up point must be accessed off NC 751/Cameron Blvd. at Science Drive due to game day traffic restrictions. Services attempting to drop-off/pick-up at other locations near the stadium will be denied access and directed to this location. There is no game day parking in this location – 20-minute drop-off/pick-up zone only.
