NORMAN, Okla. – A program-record-tying six Duke University men's golfers --
Steven DiLisio,
Evan Katz,
Adrien Pendaries,
Drew Powell,
Quinn Riley and
Qi wen Wong -- have been named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for the 2020-21 season.
As a team, the Blue Devils were honored with the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Presidents Special Recognition for boasting a team grade point average of better than 3.5. Duke was one of just 41 Division I programs nationwide to earn the Presidents Special Recognition.
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 40 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.
DiLisio received the honor for the third consecutive season, while Katz, Pendaries and Riley are repeat honorees. It marks the second straight season the Blue Devils have match the program record for All-America Scholars selections.
