AS A JUNIOR IN 2020-21
Competed in four events for the Blue Devils, playing 12 rounds with a stroke average of 75.50.
His best finish of the season came at Pinehust No. 2 in the Wake Forest Invitational, where he carded rounds of 72, 70 and 76 to post an 8-over 218 and finish tied for 18th.
Riley finished tied for 55th at the Stitch Intercollegiate at MacGregor Downs GC in Cary at 6-over 222 (72, 74, 76).
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019-20
Competed in three stroke play events and three match play events for the Blue Devils, in a season that cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Riley played to a scoring average of 73.78 in the nine stroke play rounds, with his best finish being a tie for 38th at the Southern Highlands Collegiate where his was 6-over 222 (79, 74, 69).
He also posted strong final round at the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational, where he carded rounds of 74, 73 and 71 on his way to a tie for 48th-place at 5-pver 218.
Posted a 4-2 record in match events, including a 2-1 mark in the Cypress Point Classic and a 2-0 record in a head-to-head match versus Princeton.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018-19
Appeared in six tournaments and totaled 17 rounds, posting a scoring average of 73.71.
His best finish was tied for third at the ECU Intercollegiate, firing rounds of 77, 69 and 72 on his way to a 2-over 218.
The second-round 69 at ECU matched his low round of the season.
Riley placed 11th at the Georgia Southern Collegiate where he posted an even-par 216 with rounds of 76, 70 and 70.
He was also tied for 15th at the Grandover Collegiate, closing with a 69 on his way to a 5-over 221 (77, 75, 69).
The freshman cracked the lineup for the Bulls Bay Intercollegiate and was tied for 60th at 8-over 224 (71, 77, 76).
Made his collegiate debut at the Rod Myers Invitational, finishing tied for 28th at 4-over 220 (77, 71, 72).
PRIOR TO DUKE
Helped lead Ravenscroft to the 3A State Championship title in 2017 -- the program's eighth title and first since 2009.
Part of three TISAC Conference titles in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Was a three-time first-team All-State and All-Conference selection in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Named to the Raleigh News & Observer All-Metro Team in 2017 and 2018... Was the TISAC Conference Player of the Year in 2018.
Was the individual medalist as the TISAC Campionship in 2017 and 2018.
Lettered for five seasons on the varsity team and served as captain.
On the junior golf circuit, won the Carolinas Golf Association Junior Championship in 2017.
Was ranked 42nd nationally among junior golfers and was the top-ranked recruit in his class in the Carolinas Golf Association.
Competed in the 2017 PGA Junior Championship and was the Carolinas Section- runner-up.

Son of Denise and Ewan Riley.
Has a younger brother Morgan, who is also an avid golfer.
