DURHAM, N.C. – Thirteen members of the Duke women's lacrosse team were selected to the 2021 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association Tuesday. The 13 honorees were the second most by any ACC school.

Katie Cosgrove,
Madison Dunk,
Chase Henriquez,
Callie Humphrey and
Mary Markwordt were among the 814 student-athletes from 99 different institutions to be honored. Joining them on the list were juniors
Katie Calvo,
Eva Greco,
Veronica Hineman,
Maddie Jenner,
Sophia LeRose,
Olivia Rubin and
Hannah Thurston.
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic grade point average of 3.50 or greater.
In addition to the individual honors, head coach
Kerstin Kimel's squad was tabbed a Division I Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
