COLORADO, Colo. – Following the completion of the Young Women's National Championship, 35 athletes have been named to the Junior Pan American Championship (JPAC) Training Squad as three Blue Devils made the team, per the USA Field Hockey announcement on Thursday.

Rising senior
Leah Crouse, sophomore
Piper Hampsch and junior
Josie Varney will represent Duke field hockey on the squad. Crouse was recently named to the 2021-22 U.S. Women's National Team.
Â
The U-22 group will start training immediately as JPAC, an International Hockey Federation (FIH) Junior World Cup qualifier, will take place August 16-19 in Santiago, Chile.

Crouse, Hampsch and Varney are among the 24-athlete group selected to compete against Chile, June 30-July 4, at James Madison in Harrisonburg, Va.

The USWNT staff will choose the competing roster each day of the games.
